There are 3 things I wish to do for this blog.
1.) Give a comprehensive guide on decks as much as possible.
I always see Shadowverse guides from many players and websites so I wish to write like them. Some notable ones are NL|灰咲 慧 ‘s Natura Forest guide and TS Essia’s Amataz Forest guide.

Check out their guides:
NL|灰咲 慧 ‘s Natura Forest guide : haizaki-kei.com/?p=12
TS Essia’s Amataz Forest guide: tempostorm.com/articles/amataz-forest
2.) Try to also give out relevant statistics on ‘Gameplay’
Just To be Clear
It does not include:
Deck win rates, Frequency of decks topping tournaments
There are already many people who collect data of these stuff such as D_sv and Shisogenius.

The ones I cover are:
Probabilities of likely drawing X cards and complex random phenomena such as Truth’s Adjucation and Zeus storm damage from X evolutions.
I previously made an excel chart to calculate the chance of getting 1 of the X cards you want during the opening hand + mulligan. Imagine if you are looking for 6 cards (ehem… Amataz + Smithing) there is at most 63.32% chance of getting at least 1 of either of the 2.

I could not remember who made the table for Truth’s Adjucation and Zeus’s storm damage so I couldn’t credit him/her unless you help me recall :))
I believe these types of statistics I’m doing do not really have a large impact in decision making but quantifying them helps me appreciate things a bit more. Also, I can fact check some stuff like this from Essia’s Amataz Forest guide.

The important factors in calculating is keeping one card in hand and going fourth (drawing 4-5 more). From my previous pic the chance of getting either Amataz or Smithing by mulling 2 cards is 56.84% and the chance of drawing it independently during game phase is 52.36% and 61.02% for going 1st and 2nd respectively. When you take the Union of the two, you get 79.44% and 83.18% which is ‘close’ to what he said. Just a few decimals off. I usually calculate these with either Combinatorics or Monte Carlo (of course with many iterations).
Btw getting Leod ~88% of the time by t2 going 1st is real as long as you full mull :))
I also get prone to calculation mistakes so call me out on that :)).
3.) Also get constructive feedback from other players
I believe the guides is not a one-man project but a cumulative effort for those who read and comment (hopefully there will be). Guides will be constantly updated based on current patches, changes in the meta or from your feedback.
I don’t have a Reddit account because I rarely look at Reddit so… 😛
And maybe post some random things.

How often are new posts?
Most probably once every 2 weeks (or more) since I’m working on my own plus I have University. Updates are probably weekly. I don’t expect to cover majority of the meta. I write what I want to write. I also have other things in real life. I’m not sure if I’ll ever keep going for a long time since I usually quit these kinds of commitments but we’ll see.
Want to be a contributor?
For now comments and feedback are appreciated. I don’t expect my guides to blow up though. You can also chat with me at discord from time to time. You can find me at our team discord. Now that you I think about it maybe an Editor. When I wrote my first guide, I saw many grammatical errors… RIP.
And I guess that’s it for now.
